Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) is an IIT Kanpur incubated, Section-8
non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and capacity
building in Cyber Security, Digital Crime, Fraud Risk Management, Cyber Laws and
Cyber Forensics. Registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961,
FCRF works at the intersection of technology, governance, and law to strengthen India’s digital resilience.

Future Crime Summit 2024 — First Edition The inaugural edition of the Future Crime Summit brought together 1,500+ participants and over 100 speakers, creating a national platform for dialogue on cybercrime, cybersecurity, and digital policing.
CyberSafe Uttar Pradesh — National Launch FCRF launched CyberSafe Uttar Pradesh, a statewide cyber awareness and capacity-building initiative, attended by 200+ senior police officers from across the country.
The second edition of the Future Crime Summit expanded in scale and scope, with 130+ speakers and over 1,700 participants, strengthening national and cross-sector collaboration on future crime and digital risk.
Paytm–FCRF CSR Initiative In partnership with Paytm CSR, FCRF undertook a large-scale cyber awareness and digital education initiative across Uttar Pradesh, focusing on fraud prevention and digital safety.
Launch of FCRF Academy FCRF Academy was formally launched to institutionalise capacity building. Flagship programs such as CCMP (with CERT-In) trained 500+ professionals from government and corporate sectors in cyber crisis management and digital resilience.
